Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and we are his sheep. With love and care, Jesus leads his sheep into the safety of the sheepfold, where he lovingly cares for and protects them. The Good Shepherd will die for his sheep. Through Montessori-style play, children can begin to develop their own relationship with Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Children learn to trust in a loving and tender God.
The open-ended design of the sheepfold blocks allow for lots of creative play. Children practice and develop patience by matching the angles on the blocks into the circular fold- and can also create walls, roads and whatever else they imagine!
Assembled sheepfold is 9.5 inches across. Sheepfold blocks are ~3 inches wide. Jesus figure is 3.5 inches tall.
All pieces are 3/4 solid hardwood.

Rubberwood is a highly sustainable and beautiful hardwood. Trees that have finished producing latex on rubber tree farms are cut down to make room for new trees to be planted. Instead of wasting this beautiful wood, it is used to create a variety of home goods and toys! We’ve very intentionally selected rubberwood for this reason, to avoid deforestation and ensure our wooden toys are truly environmentally friendly.
