  • Saint Francis

    $17.95

Told through the kindly view of his guardian angel, this grandly illustrated story introduces children to the remarkable life of St. Francis of Assisi – the joyful saint who heard God’s call and gave all he had to follow Him.

Born into wealth and comfort, young Francis was the “life of the party,” known for his laughter, music, and fine clothes. But when adversity turned his heart toward Heaven, Francis began listening for a different voice – and soon heard the gentle call of God.

Kneeling in the crumbling chapel of San Damiano, he heard Jesus speak from the Cross: “Francis, rebuild my Church” – and from that moment on, nothing would ever be the same.

Through rich, vibrant images, children will journey with Francis as he gives away his riches, rebuilds chapels stone by stone, and befriends every creature he meets. They will marvel at his long journey to the Holy Land, his creation of the first living Nativity using real animals, and his heavenly vision of the seraph who marked him with the stigmata.

From his songs and laughter to his final blessing over his beloved town of Assisi, this book brings St. Francis to life in brilliant detail. It is an essential true story that helps children see God’s beauty in all living things and inspires them to love, serve, and “rebuild” His Church in their own small ways.

So deeply moved was the late Pope Francis by the life and example of St. Francis that he took his name upon becoming pope. This book will help you understand why he honored him so.

  • 2 Greatest Novels Ever Written

    $24.95

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky are both widely regarded as two of the greatest novels ever written. The former, originally published in English between 1954 and 1955, is an epic fantasy set in an ancient world painted with cosmological breadth, while the latter, originally published in Russian in 1880, is a gritty mystery set in a modern world fathomed with psychological depth. Yet both sprawling narratives continue to receive high acclaim and inspire countless readers around the world.

In this philosophical exploration, Peter Kreeft argues that The Lord of the Rings and The Brothers Karamazov are not just two of the greatest novels but simply the greatest two–and not primarily because of their distinct plots, characters, settings, and styles, but because of the metaphysical, anthropological, and moral themes that unite them. Examining the writers’ treatments of good and evil, power and weakness, and virtue and vice, Kreeft shows how both Tolkien and Dostoevsky, by writing with the mind of Christ, reveal the deepest truths of reality.

  • Praying With Sacred Art

    $19.95

One of the most powerful ways of encountering God is through our senses, especially through our perception of beauty. The good, the true, and the beautiful are inseparable, and beauty, rightly considered, always leads to the Creator.

In this rich journey through sacred art, author Derek Rotty accompanies readers through the mysteries of salvation history, highlighting some of the Church’s most moving and celebrated works of visual art. He embraces the concept of visio divina, in which contemplation of sacred art becomes a prayer in much the same way as lectio divina makes a prayer out of Scripture reading.

The Church has always known that images possess the power to communicate truths in a special way. She speaks of sacred art as “a freely given superabundance of the human being’s inner riches.” Thus, the God-given talents of the artist, from ancient iconographers to Caravaggio and beyond, are gifts for the whole Church to bring the faithful closer to the divine.

Rotty reflects on powerful pieces of art and contextualizes them both in Church history and in the practice of visio divina. He explains:

*The classical definition of beauty and why transcendence matters in sacred art
*How sacred art aids contemplative prayer
*The importance of beauty within the walls of the church
*How artists use symbology to communicate eternal truths

In the book, Rotty dissects specific pieces of art, such as the Isenheim Altarpiece and Raphael’s Transfiguration, to aid readers in contemplation of the life of Christ and the divine mysteries. He also includes reflection questions to allow readers to begin their own practice of visio divina.

Praying with Sacred Art takes readers on a sweeping pilgrimage through the movements of the liturgical year, equipping the faithful to “read” great pieces of sacred art and go deeper in their encounter with Our Lord.

  • Praying With The Popes

    $16.95

In this unique collection, the timeless teachings from twelve modern popes are gathered into one powerful prayer book. Praying with the Popes invites you to journey through a century and a half of papal wisdom–from Leo XIII to Leo XIV–and discover a unified witness to hope, justice, and peace, offering a window into the heart of the Vatican and the soul of the Church.

Catholic speaker and author Katie McGrady writes in the introduction “As you pray with our popes from Leo XIII to Leo XIV, may you discover anew the hope and peace of Christ, which compels us all to engage the social ills of our day and move forward in making the world a better place for all people now–and for generations to come.”

Praying with the Popes: Words of Hope and Peace from Leo XIII to Leo XIV gathers powerful quotes from the writings of these successors of Peter. Their words are offered as a source of reflection and prayer–inviting readers to grow in hope, to deepen their understanding of the Church’s vision of peace, and to foster a Christ-centered love that moves us to daily action on behalf of justice.

At once a spiritual, theological, and doctrinal introduction to Catholic social teaching, Praying with the Popes also serves as a practical guide for living it out in our world today. When Robert Francis Prevost, the first American pope, was elected to the papacy in May 2025 and took the name Leo XIV, many recognized in his choice a clear alignment with the legacy of Leo XIII, the final pope of the nineteenth century. The twelve popes from Leo XIII to Leo XIV guided the Church through tremendous economic, political, and social upheaval. In doing so, they consistently encouraged the faithful to engage more deeply with the Church’s social teachings–teachings that equip believers to live out Christ’s commandment to love as he loves and to help bring about God’s kingdom of peace on earth.

Each chapter begins with a short profile of the featured pope, followed by six brief excerpts from his writings. Quotes are paired with prompts for personal reflection, prayer, and sometimes concrete actions that embody the message of justice and love.

The popes featured in this book served the Church from 1878 to 2025:

    *Leo XIII
    *Pius X
    *Benedict XV
    *Pius XI
    *Pius XII
    *John XXIII
    *Paul VI
    *John Paul I
    *John Paul II
    *Benedict XVI
    *Francis
    *Leo XIV

Before they were bishops of Rome, the popes of the Catholic Church were first sons of God and men of prayer. Each was

  • Find Your Fight

    $15.95

“Since our exile from Eden,” Blanski writes, “God has been using ‘boring dads’ to save the world.”

What if the life you’re living–the diapers, deadlines, and dog walks–is exactly where your greatness is meant to unfold? As a younger man, Tyler Blanski lived by the bold American proverb “If you’re going to be a bear, be a grizzly.” He chased adventure, dreamed big, and lived passionately. But after marriage, kids, and settling into suburban life, he found himself wondering, Am I still the grizzly–or have I become a teddy bear?

In this raw, witty, and deeply honest book, Blanski explores the hidden heroism of ordinary fatherhood. Through personal stories, spiritual insights, and no-nonsense encouragement, he invites fellow dads to rediscover their strength–not by escaping family life but by leaning into it. Holiness isn’t just found in mountaintop monasteries or epic quests. It’s forged in the garage, the carpool lane, and the kitchen after bedtime.

Find Your Fight: Rugged Wisdom for Faithful Dads Who Refuse to Settle is a rallying cry for men who refuse to coast through midlife. Ending each chapter with practical reflections (best pondered over whiskey and a firepit), Blanski challenges dads to reclaim their mission, reframe their vocation, and find holiness in the grit of everyday life.

Whether you’re changing diapers or leading a team meeting, this book will remind you that fatherhood is not a detour from greatness–it’s the battleground where saints are made.

Perfect for dads who want more than just survival in the suburbs, this is a bold invitation to live with purpose, fight for your family, and become the man God is calling you to be.

  • Most Dangerous Man In England

    $34.95

Once described by the papal chamberlain George Talbot as “the most dangerous man in England,” John Henry Newman held bold views on the laity that challenged the ecclesial status quo of his day. But what exactly made his ideas so provocative? And what relevance do they have today?

In “The Most Dangerous Man in England” Newman and the Laity, Paul Shrimpton examines Newman’s revolutionary perspective on the laity’s role in the Church and in the world. More than just an analysis of Newman’s writings, this work tells the story of the great saint’s dealings with lay men and women throughout his long and eventful life, revealing Newman’s lively insights, genius for friendship, and deep humanity. Shrimpton traces Newman’s journey from his influential years at Oxford to his leadership at the Birmingham Oratory, from the founding of the Catholic University in Ireland to his controversial efforts to establish a “Catholic Eton,” a boys’ school attached to the Birmingham Oratory. Through these episodes, Newman emerges as an example to pastors for how to work with and for the laity, as well as an example to laypeople for how to carry out a Christian apostolate through friendship. Shrimpton also shows howNewman’s emphasis on education for laypeople and the universal call to holiness anticipates the teachings of Vatican II by well over a century.

The whole Church, pastors and laity, should take note of the words and works of this great modern intellectual and Christian humanist. Newman’s vision has the potential to revitalize and empower every man and woman to embrace their mission to sanctify the world.

This story explains how a holy French nun— who experienced a painful childhood, sickness, and suffered being gossiped by her sisters in the convent— was chosen to proclaim the revelations of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Great First Friday Promise. St. Margaret Mary’s story shows how Our Lord chooses the weak to confound the strong, and He gives strength and consolation when it is most needed—her story is a story for all readers to have hope for eternal joy!
Mary Fabyan Windeatt was known as “the storyteller of the saints.” In the 1950’s and 60’s she wrote over twenty historical fiction novels on the saints, bringing to life these holy men and women for young readers across the world. By artistically rendering familiar stories, the Windeatt books help readers see that the saints are real people whom we can emulate.
