Amazing Grace Framed Carving
$279.99Add to cartInscription: Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed! Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.
Construction & Composition: These large and majestic signs and plaques are first milled out on CNC routers following tool paths created in our design lab. Each piece can take up to 8 hours to carve in detail, and once complete is hand sanded. All the components are then moved to our finishing department where stain is applied by hand. After drying, the pieces are sprayed with a sealant to lock out any moisture and prevent damage. After another round of drying the pieces are sanded again to ensure a smooth surface for the final coat of conversion varnish. Assembly is completed by hand and the finished product is boxed and filled with a cushion of foam for safe transport. All total there is about 20 steps in the production process with as many as a dozen different craftsman taking part.
Care: Clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry. This item is not intended for outdoor use and exposure to water may cause irreversible damage. -
